Pemba District is exhibiting at the Southern Province Investment Exposition being held at The Gold Club in Livingstone from 12th to 16th October 2025, under the theme “Unlocking Investment Opportunities for Socio-Economic Transformation through Partnerships and Innovations.”
The Local Authority, Pemba Town Council, is spearheading the district’s participation at the Expo, with the support of various Government departments and key stakeholders working together to highlight Pemba’s immense investment potential and developmental prospects.
As one of Zambia’s most promising emerging districts, Pemba is showcasing a variety of strategic investment opportunities aimed at fostering socio-economic growth and attracting both local and international investors.
The district has surveyed land ready for development, earmarked for the establishment of a university and a multipurpose stadium, projects designed to position Pemba as an educational, sporting, and commercial hub in Southern Province.
Pemba is also endowed with rich mineral deposits, with samples of coal, copper ore, beryllium, granite, amethyst, iron ore, and more on display at the stand. These resources present untapped opportunities for investment in the mining and manufacturing sectors.
