Pemba Town Council on 2nd December, 2024 joined the global community in commemorating World AIDS Day which is observed on 1st December every year.
The event which was graced by the presence of the Council Chairperson Mr. Kingstone Handiindo, was held in Yotam Muleya Ward under the theme “Equal Rights= Better Health Outcomes#Take the Rights Path”.
As part of the commemoration, the World AIDS Day Community Tournament was successfully held, bringing together residents for a day of sports, unity, and awareness.
